People do business with people

Technology leaders in today's world, have a plethora of solutions available to solve any challenge they may be facing.  There are also a plethora of sales reps trying to sell the latest and greatest tech gizmo.  Some are better at selling gizmos than others and a small few of those reps are the best of the best.  During my career, I  have encountered reps at every point on the spectrum and have often analyzed what differentiates the good from the bad.   There are some obvious differences.  Some are tactical things that can probably be learned over time, but my belief is that the best are just born that way; cut from a different cloth.   In my opinion, the true innate differentiators boil down into 3 categories:  morals, work ethic and grit .

I am sympathetic to the task recruiters and hiring managers face with sifting through massive amounts of applicants in search of a needle in the haystack.  It is virtually impossible to uncover everything you need to know about a person's real capabilities from a resume or even during an interview.  Some people are great interviewers but horrible sellers.  Some fantastic sellers are horrible interviewers.  To accurately assess a candidate, you need to know a little more about the person.  Do they have good morals, good work ethic and true grit?  To become a part of your team, it is important that you trust me and to trust me, you have to know me.  Therein lies the purpose of this site.   I invite you to spend some time here getting to know me personally and professionally.

Why Technology?

They say if you love what you do for a living, you will never work a day in your life

I am passionate about technology, and I LOVE what I do.  Technology drives the world forward. It has become a necessary part of our daily lives. It is transformational, revolutionary and everchanging and provides me endless opportunities to learn, grow and adapt,  Most importantly,  it gives me endless opportunities to make a measurable, quantifiable difference in the future success of my customers. To me, that is what matters most; moving the needle for my customers.

During the many years that I have served the tech industry as a sales rep,  I have learned so much about so many different industries; Healthcare & Life Sciences, Retail, Service Providers, Financial to name a few. More importantly, I have also learned so much about the individual people that keep the IT engines of those companies running like a well oiled machine.   I am grateful for the trust they have in me to listen and learn about their goals and challenges and to bring them solutions that will support those goals and help them overcome obstacles.  Developing trusting, mutually-beneficial  relationships with my customers is what I consider success.

With that said, my success has also been due to the fact  that I have represented some fantastic organizations that offer superior and innovative solutions and put their customers first.   I only work for  organizations and represent solutions that I believe in, and for that reason,  I stand behind the technology and solutions I have sold to all of my customers.  I am confident that I have  helped customers move the needle, and THAT is what I love about what I do.
